Lenard is the founding partner of Absolvo Consulting, having 20+ years of expertise in private equity deals, growth financing of scaleups and M&A advisory. Besides effectively closing transactions, he gained extensive experience in creating and executing growth strategies and business plans.

Before establishing Absolvo, Lenard gained hands-on experience at an IT company as sales manager, later on introduced a new product and business line for the Hungarian market and served as director of that.

Active publisher in several core business medias, a frequent presenter of corporate finance classes at Hungarian and other international business and technical universities. Mentor and trainer at several regional VC/PE programmes.

Lenard served as a Board Member of the Hungarian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HVCA) between 2015 and 2018.

He graduated at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences then followed his business studies with M&A, strategy, corporate finance and marketing specializations at MIT, Columbia Business School and Wharton Business School.

Ivan has a B2B sales and marketing background and started his career as an expert on international relations before joining Absolvo in 2006.

He is actively involved in the daily development and implementation of international growth strategies, international business development, venture capital transactions, and strategic exits, both as a consultant and interim manager. In the past 10 years he has worked on the growth strategies of companies such as Balabit, Parkl, AQ Anton, Avatao, Shopbuilder, and Continest and lead several tech transaction projects on both sell and buy-side.

He is a former member of the Board of the Hungarian Association of Foreign Trade. He regularly gives lectures and trainings in Hungarian and English and taught international marketing at BGE and the Metropolitan University Executive MBA program. He is an active angel investor and a member of HunBan and currently a Board Member of the Hungarian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HVCA) since 2024.

Ivan learned strategic marketing at the University of Applied Sciences in Budapest and later studied B2B marketing at a Wharton Business Scchool course. He also holds an MA degree in English Language & Culture and International and Hungarian History.

Tamás started his career at PwC where he worked for 5 years on the fields of audit and financial due diligences. Then he joined HTCC Group (publicly listed on NYSE) in the telco sector where he worked for 5 years as Deputy Group CFO.

Key achievements included the PanTel and Invitel acquisitions as well as arrangement of the transactions related bank financing. Prior to joining Absolvo Consulting, Tamás spent 7 years in the real estate sector and acted as CFO for the Hungarian portfolio of ORCO Property Group (listed on several European stock exchanges). He was overseeing the fields of real estate investments, company acquisitions and disposals, arrangement of bank financing as well as financial supervision of development projects. During his career, Tamás managed successfully more than 800 million EUR worth M&A transactions. He gained significant management experience at large- and medium size companies’ top management.

Tamás obtained his Finance and Accounting specialized Economist degree in the Economics Faculty of University of Miskolc.

Ákos joined the Absolvo team more than 10 years ago. During his career at Absolvo he has developed a strong expertise in advising sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, growth financing projects, business / financial planning and conducting valuations.

Ákos has obtained an in-depth experience in ICT, e-commerce and other technology, innovation-driven industries, he contributed to several successful transaction closings in these sectors. Beyond technology, Ákos has supported companies operating in strong traditional industries like packaging, food&beverage, mechanical engineering and logistics to deliver their growth projects successfully. During his career he has represented our Clients in more than 40 transactions.

Prior to joining Absolvo, he established and built his advisory skills in large scale investment projects in banking and energy sectors.

Ákos obtained his corporate finance and organization development specialized MSc degree from the Corvinus University of Budapest.

Gábor joined the Absolvo team in February 2022; his key areas of expertise are M&A transactions, acquisitions, company valuation and financial due diligence.

During his career he has been involved in M&A transactions with strategic and financial investors and has developed his senior expertise in both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.

Prior to joining Absolvo, Gábor had conducted domestic and cross-border acquisitions at EGIS Pharmaceuticals for 5 years and had previously managed the Hungarian investment and financing projects of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the ICT, financial, energy and corporate sectors. Gábor started his career as an M&A consultant at a BIG4 where he was responsible for the preparation of transactions, financial planning, conducting due diligence and valuation for technology companies, financial institutions and manufacturing entities.

Gábor graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics with the major of Industrial Engineering and Management. Gábor is also a certified public accountant, a CFA charterholder, and he earned his Executive MBA at the Central European University.

Anetta brings over a decade of experience in sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, venture capital fundraising, enterprise valuations, and due diligence. She has worked on numerous international and cross-border deals involving regional and global strategic investors, as well as private equity funds. At Absolvo, she has played a key role in transactions for companies like Avokado, CEUMED, Logiscool, 11 Entertainment Group (Cyberjump), Starschema, Grape Solutions, and Terra-Net.

Before joining Absolvo, Anetta started her career as an auditor at Ernst & Young, focusing on manufacturing and service provider companies. She then moved to a multinational technology company backed by US and European PE and VC funds, where she worked as a senior controller, overseeing monthly reporting, budgeting, and planning. She also gained valuable experience on the investor side, contributing to private equity investments, portfolio company supervision, and contracting.

In addition to her work at Absolvo, Anetta has ventured into entrepreneurship herself, gaining firsthand experience in running a business.

Anetta obtained her MSc degree at the Corvinus University of Budapest and a BSc degree in the Netherlands. She spent her internship period at the Caledonian University in Glasgow, Scotland, where her research findings on the field of corporate finance have been published.

Tamás gained experience in Hungary at one of the region's leading VC/PE firm, then he worked on M&A transactions in Singapore. In total, he has worked on more than 15 e-commerce, technology, and telecommunication projects with transaction sizes ranging from EUR 1 million to EUR 30 million, but he also acquired expertise in traditional industries such as construction, automotive, and agriculture.

Within the framework of a generational transition, he took over a Hungarian company, in which, following its restructuring and the establishment of management, he still holds the position of co-managing director.

His key expertise lies in venture capital investments, buy-side transactions, business valuations, and acquisitions in which fields he has more than 10 years of experience.

He studied finance at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and at the National University of Singapore.

Balazs began his career at Morgan Stanley as a member of the credit research team.  After his MSc studies in the Netherlands, he  broadened his expertise in sell-side and buy-side M&A, and fundraising working in Vienna and briefly in London, primarily covering the DACH and Benelux regions. During this time, he worked closely with private equity and venture capital firms, gaining significant experience in the investment landscape.

He led and supported the process across the full range of M&A transactions, startup exits and startup fundraises with a total deal value of ~€0.5Bn.

His key expertise includes sell-side M&A, fundraising, and company valuation.

He obtained his MSc diploma in Economics from the Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam, preceded by studies in Finance at Corvinus University of Budapest.

Petra joined Absolvo in 2021 and is currently working as a Senior Analyst. During her career at Absolvo, she has gained experience in supporting sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, fundraising projects, financial planning and market research.

Prior to joining Absolvo, she held positions as a Controller and Senior Analyst, gaining extensive experience in credit insurance, banking, and finance at multinational corporations, where she was responsible for analyzing financial statements and identifying financial risks.

Petra holds two MSc degrees: one in Corporate Finance from Corvinus University of Budapest and another in Economics Teaching from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. She obtained her BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Following the completion of his internship at Absolvo, he was offered a position as an analyst within the financing team. He contributes to fundraising and M&A projects during the preparation phase, encompassing tasks such as financial modeling, market research, preparation of investor materials and long lists, and providing support in the development of financial and growth strategic plans.

Norbert also utilizes various next-generation AI tools with conviction in his everyday tasks. He’s been primarily engaged in transactions of software and cloud-based tech companies and also related to manufacturing ones. Additionally, he often supports the marketing team by writing analyses and blogs on various M&A-related topics.

Norbert earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Corvinus University of Budapest. Currently, Norbert is pursuing a master’s degree in finance at Eötvös Loránd University.

In her first university year, Lili immediately became a member of the Budapest Investment Club, where she was introduced to the financial world, investments, private equity, and venture capital. This experience raised her interest so deeply that she knew she wanted to pursue a career in the field, particularly in M&A.

She also completed a year-long internship as an Accounting Intern, where she became well-acquainted with the principles of accounting.

Lili’s talent for strategy building and execution led to her selection for an international business case competition where her team earned a top spot. She excels at communication and presentation skills, paired with high tech adaptibility.

Lili graduated at Corvinus University of Budapest on Business Administration and Management, specializing in Strategic Analysis. She also spent a semester in Warsaw on an Erasmus exchange.

Vivi has gained extensive marketing experience in the investment banking and aviation industries. Recently, she worked as a Brand Consultant with small- and mid-sized firms, and as a Trainer and Coach with various entrepreneurs and individuals.

As a brand consultant, Vivi has provided brand audits, coached managers and entrepreneurs, and led customized trainings in branding and communications. Previously, in her past roles at Morgan Stanley, Wizz Air, and Randstad Sourceright, she led initiatives in offline and digital marketing and employer branding, boosting engagement and brand visibility. Her achievements include launching Wizz Air’s Pilot Academy in various countries within the CEE region and securing industry awards for top corporate/employer branding.

She earned her International Business BSc in English and Marketing MSc at Corvinus University of Budapest. She spent a semester studying Business Management and Marketing at the University of Mannheim in an Erasmus exchange.


Ildi started her career in France in the fashion industry. After returning in Hungary she held positions as business and financial controller on company, regional and group level. She gained extensive experiences in forecasting, budgeting, cash-flow planning and HR controlling in several sectors: building, bankcard, medical and energy (LB, Oberthur, Roche, MET Group).

She opened new dimensions and ways in the decision making process related even to the business strategy and also to operational functions by creating and developping new and tailormade business reports of the company’s results.

She also led internal audit at a Groupfirm in Switzerland and participated in the launching of new affiliate in Greece by supporting financial activities (Oberthur).

Ildi studied finance at Corvinus University of Budapest (Msc) and University of Jean Moulin in Lyon. She earned her bechalor's degree in finance at the Budapest Business School - Faculty of International Business. Ildi is also a certified public accountant.

Gabriella is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
She knows the firm inside and out, having been part of it for 10 years.

She gained her professional experiences at multinational companies like ORCO Property Group, Wallis Group and ING.

Gabriella holds an Economist degree.
